Heshe Leontess is currently pursuing an MFA in Comic Book Illustration at the Academy of Art University. For her graduating thesis, she is using her novel "Plague Doc Inc: First Plague – Magic" as the script for the initial production of the Plague Doc Inc. comic series.
Having been medically retired from the military, Heshe works as a freelance illustrator on the side, primarily creating custom awards for the nonprofit organization AMTGARD. Her illustrations draw inspiration from historical European plagues and the locations they affected.
